1001Tracklists and fan platform Corite have teamed up to create unique, 1/1 NFT trophies for each artist in the Top 101 Producers 2022 and Future of Dance 2022.

As a show of appreciation to fans and to raise money to support underrepresented artists from the global dance community, many of this year’s artists have elected to raffle their NFT trophies, with some containing extra benefits! Be sure to explore them all.

How much does it cost to participate?

Each ticket is 5 USD, or the equivalent in crypto currency.

When does the sale start?

10.00 UTC 19 October 2022.

What should I do to prepare?

After signing up for an account on corite.com, be sure to connect a MetaMask wallet (it’s free to create one, just visit metamask.io and follow the instructions). You will be able to pay with crypto in the form of BUSD, USDT and USDC on the BNB Chain as well as with normal money. If you pay with crypto you will need some BNB to pay for the so-called gas fees (transaction costs) on the BNB Chain.

How is the winner of each NFT Trophy selected?

After the sale closes on 15 November 2022, 10.00 UTC there will be a draw among all tickets sold for each NFT Trophy. The result of the draw will not be possible to appeal. Each ticket holder will thereafter get the NFT Trophy airdropped into their wallet or have the possibility to claim it on corite.com/1001, provided that:

The ticket holder is still a registered user at Corite
The ticket holder has connected a crypto wallet address to Corite
The ticket holder has provided accurate and complete information as may be required by Corite, its partners or by law at the time

Any applicable tax or other legal requirements connected with receiving an NFT Trophy will be the sole responsibility of the holder.

We will communicate with the holders through announcements on email in the respective Corite profile, Telegram, Twitter and other Corite channels that may exist at the time. Any form of communication will be at Corite’s sole discretion.

What is the Future Of Dance Fund?

The Future of Dance Fund is a charitable collaboration project which will support and showcase 12 artists from November 2022 to October 2023. The fund will deliver financing, marketing and other support to underrepresented dance music artists each month.

Where does the money from the Future Of Dance Fund come from and where does it go?

The Future of Dance Fund will be raised by the charity raffle for the Top 101 Producers & Future of Dance NFT trophies held at corite.com/1001. Individual funds raised from each NFT raffle will go into an aggregate pool, which will be split evenly between the 12 monthly selections receiving marketing and other support over the upcoming year.

How do I receive the NFT Trophy if I am a winner?

When the sale of tickets is over, each artist's trophy will be minted as an NFT, which means it will be registered on a blockchain called BNB Chain, operated by Binance. You will need a so-called crypto wallet, which you can create for free by following instructions on metamask.io. If you already have a wallet on Ethereum, you can use that, but you need to add the BNB Chain to your wallet to be able to see your NFT. You will also need a small amount of BNB to cover for gas fees when minting your NFT Trophy.

If you are a lucky winner, you will be able to claim your NFT Trophy on this site when the sale is over. Any holder must be registered at Corite and have a crypto wallet connected to claim it.

Can I get multiple tickets?

Yes you can! There will be a maximum of 1,000 tickets per artist. This means that some of the most popular producers may sell out quickly.

The Top 101 Producers showcase the artists whose productions have been supported the most by DJs around the world. It's a 100% data-driven ranking, and something that is very unique in the music industry.

What is the Future Of Dance?

In order to take a step towards greater change and empowerment, 1001Tracklists have simultaneously published their ‘Future Of Dance’ list featuring 101 women and POC artists alongside the Top 101 Producers 2022. Hand-selecting artists from across the globe, these artists’ productions have also been important in defining the sounds of the electronic music world in the past 12 months and will shape the future ahead.

What benefits do I get by owning an NFT Trophy?

Everyone buying a ticket makes a contribution to the Future of Dance fund and will get a receipt confirming their participation and purchase. Winners of each NFT Trophy will own a unique piece of dance music history shared with fans by the best producers on the planet.

Some of these NFTs also come with extra money-can’t-buy experiences such as online meet-and-greets, backstage access or feedback on the NFT holder’s own music. The benefits differ from artist to artist so make sure to check them all out. Corite and 1001Tracklists will facilitate the contact between the artist and the NFT holder, but the artist is fully responsible for the execution and delivery of all benefits tied to their NFT Trophy.

My NFT Trophy has extra benefits. How do I get my benefits?

First of all: Congratulations! After you have been awarded an NFT Trophy you will be able to redeem it on corite.com/1001. You need to have the Trophy in your wallet connected to your Corite account. Once the benefits have been claimed on corite.com/1001, we will let the artist know and they will connect with you using information provided by you in your Corite profile, so make sure you keep it updated.

The delivery of all benefits are provided by and are the responsibility of the artist themselves. You must redeem your NFT Trophy by 31 December 2022 or the benefits will be forfeited. Once an NFT Trophy has been redeemed, the benefits should be delivered by the artist in a timely fashion or as agreed between the artist and the holder of the NFT Trophy.

If any benefits are unavailable, each artist reserves the right to substitute for different benefits in its reasonable discretion, which may not have the same value (objective or subjective) as the original benefits. All use of or access to the benefits are subject to any applicable rules and regulations at all times, including but not limited to, Corite’s Terms of Use. The benefits have no cash value and are not redeemable or exchangeable for other considerations.

Can I trade my NFT Trophy?

Yes! You are free to sell it since you own it. The easiest way to do this is put it up for sale on Corite.com or go to a marketplace such as NFTrade.com or Galler.io.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have bought your NFT on a marketplace, any possible benefit tied to the NFT may already have been redeemed. A list of redeemed NFTs will be posted online from time to time, but it is the responsibility of the seller to inform any potential buyers of the current status of the benefits.

Can I own more than one NFT Trophy?

Yes! You may be lucky enough to win more than one in the initial sale or you may wish to buy from someone else on a secondary market. Please note that any benefits tied to a particular NFT Trophy may have already been redeemed at which point there is no way for a new owner to get these benefits once again.

What is an NFT?

NFT is short for ”Non Fungible Token” which means something that is not replaceable. A simpler way of putting it is to say it’s something unique. NFTs are stored using a technology called blockchain, which is a ledger of who owns what, but without being controlled by a single person or organization. This can be achieved as all information is encrypted, making it impossible to change without it being noticed.

An NFT can represent digital assets like a song or a video, physical goods such as real estate or the right to a revenue share and much more. An NFT can also give its owner different types of benefits or utilities, discounts and other extras.

Tokenization, i.e. the process of turning something into an NFT for instance, is a way of simplifying the possibility of buying, selling and trading digital assets in a more secure and distributed way.

What is a Blockchain?

A blockchain is a ledger of transactions distributed amongst many computers. It is public and immutable, meaning that the transactions that occur on it are irreversible and can be referenced in the future. The blockchain enables for the exchange of these NFTs in a decentralized, peer-to-peer format.
